  Have you tried a direct connection from the pc to the radio? This involves an Ethernet connection between the pc and the radio, bypassing the network. This would eliminate any network issues.

  Yes. There is some loss of capability that way. The 6400 actually has 3 antenna connections. There are the two that are mentioned in the question that can be used as rx and tx in the conventional way…
